Animal Medical Center of Warrenton is highly praised for its caring and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Rethman and Dr. Bartlett are described as fantastic, thorough, and trustworthy, with a good network of referrals for specialty care when needed. They take the time to explain everything clearly and treat animals with genuine love and respect. The support team is personable and loving, making pets feel comfortable and cared for during visits. Many clients appreciate that the veterinarians understand the importance of quality of life and do not pressure them into costly treatments. The staff’s compassionate approach is evident, especially in critical situations where they go above and beyond to save pets, often communicating every step to pet owners. Pets are treated like family, and owners are grateful for the honest, straightforward care provided. Even after moving farther away, clients continue to drive long distances because of the excellent experience. Overall, the clinic is known for its excellent bedside manner, deep love for animals, and dedication to providing the best care possible.
Dr. Rethman is one of the best Vets around. This practice is still independently owned, and not part of a large corporation and it shows in the care you receive. They don't try and upsell you on nonsense treatments or lab work for no reason (like other Vets in the area).
Dr. Barlett and Dr. Rethman are fantastic. Very knowledgeable, thorough, trustworthy, explain everything appropriately, and have access to a good network of referrals if specialty care is needed. The technicians are so personable. We’ve moved further away and I still drive 45min to take my dogs there.
Dr. Rethman is great and always takes his time explaining or answering any questions I have. His staff is also very genuine and love seeing my boys. Malik and Pumba are happy to have such great care here :)
