Renae is wonderful at her job. She gave life and body back to my hair. The layers she added made getting ready for work quicker. She is a fun and silly person. Truely a pleasure to be around. I will return and recommend anyone/everyone go to see her.

The have changed locations they are no longer in hilltop so dont follow google info. The place is tiny but cozy, Miss Renae is very nice and I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mother as well. She did a great job and I love how my hair looks. I had a groupon for a deep conditioning plus the haircut but honestly my hair doesnt feel conditioned or softer in any way. I was expecting something better. But other than that the haircut itself looks great!

Renae Renae Renae!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is the owner of Sensations and I am so so happy I chose this salon to have my mane shaped up. Since its the holiday season and I have half of my family coming into town, I wanted a fresh look since we all know how many photos are taken during Christmas. I came across a groupon that couldn't be beat. I called ahead before purchasing to ensure I would be able to secure an appointment and at first, she told me the earliest I would be able to get in was Christmas eve.. after slight disappointment since that wouldn't work for me and my schedule, she put me on hold for a minute and promptly came back asking if I could make it in that same day at 8:30pm.. Yes, AFTER the salons normal business hours. I asked her if she was sure, I didn't want to ruin her night and she told me to absolutely come in if I could make it. Sure enough, I purchased the groupon and off I went. The location was a little difficult to find, but she stood outside and literally flagged my car down since I am HORRIBLE with finding places. So helpful and rare to find someone this caring. Since it was after hours, the salon was empty aside from me and her. She quickly got to work, shampooing and deep conditioning my ridiculous amount of hair. I asked her honest opinion on what she though I should do since my hair is VERY long and VERY thick. She told me I should absolutely never thin it out because of my texture and offered to do long layers to compliment the length I was hell bent on keeping. No one I have ever put my trust in has been this honest. I respect a hair stylist who is real and not just in it to go scissor happy on my head, as I have experienced so many times in the past. She cleaned my hair up beautifully, added great layers, gave me a stellar blow out and a baileys with coffee to boot. It took her almost 3 hours to complete her masterpiece, so yes, that puts me at around an 11pm leaving time. How wonderful is this woman to take care of me in such a pinch and not act annoyed for even a second. She had a great personality, our conversations never lapsed and I was overall absolutely pleased with the outcome. To top off my experience, she walked me out to my car since it was so late to make sure I got in safe. Truly a wonderful caring woman that I will absolutely go back to over and over again. Thank you so much for the first positive hair cut experience I have had in years. I appreciate the time and effort and care she provided and you should totally make an appointment to go see her as well. You will not regret it.
