J J Tailoring offers professional and friendly service with excellent workmanship. The seamstress provides quick turnaround times, often within a week or less, and reasonable prices. From hemming linen blend pants to altering bridesmaid dresses, the tailor provides quality work with a smile, despite a possible language barrier. Cash only, but well worth the visit.
I had such a wonderful experience at JJ Tailoring with Ms. Anna. I came in on a snow day to get my bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding that was only three weeks away, and she was incredibly patient and accommodating. We went through adjustments twice, and I spent about 45 minutes - 1 hour deciding on options after checking with my husband & the bride. She never rushed me & was so understanding throughout the process.
She clearly quoted the price, provided a receipt, and told me exactly when to return. I picked it up in a week & forgot to bring my heels for the fitting, but the dress still turned out perfect when I tried it at home!

I had a wonderful experience here! I brought in a velvet dress that needed a significant hem and some delicate adjustments to a slip. Velvet can be a tricky fabric, but she handled it with total expertise and made me feel so confident in the final fit.
What I appreciated most was how calm and professional she is. She was incredibly accommodating to my schedule and her turnaround time was truly impressive. It’s clear she takes great pride in her craft while still being very efficient. The pricing was very fair for such high-quality work. I feel beautiful in this dress now and I’ll definitely be back for any future alterations!
Got a few pieces altered for my first cruise. She did so amazing on every piece. The new seams were invisible & everything fit perfect. She’s very sweet & professional.
