I have been coming here for about a year now and I get great service every time. My first appointment was to add some low lights into my hair and I wasn’t sure exactly what colors I wanted. Tracey listened to me and then went above and beyond for my colors. I loved them. Also when I started my appointments I was dealing with some regrowth of hair as a result of post-party hair loss. I was nervous because years before another salon had given me a too short cut that I hated. But again Tracey listened to me and worked to make the regrowth look natural. I met Jetta before I had ever been to the salon, so I came in to have her cut my hair. I've had a 5 year history of bad experiences with my hair. I've had three appointments with Jetta so far, and we've been working towards undoing a lot of stuff previously done to my hair. She has really had her work cut out for her, and the process is going so well! She has always been very informative of the fact that it is a process for hair to grow, and become healthy. Banding has to grow out, but with strategic highlights and lowlights, can be made less noticeable. I have really appreciated the care she takes with her clients. I also appreciate that this salon is family owned. It isn't a big chain. I feel this allows the experience to be a little more personable. The location is also really convenient, off Virginia Beach blvd. For me especially, as I work at RK Subaru right at the corner. It's more accessible than pulling into a shopping center and hunting down a header sign. Also, they have you change out of your tshirt and put a smock on, which I found really interesting because I hate coming home all itchy with little hairs all over me! They're also very accommodating for pets. I was coming from the groomer with my beagle and it wasn't a problem for my dog to wait inside with me until my roommate could pick her up. I will for sure always recommend this salon, not only for the experiences mentioned, but also for the consistency in service they provide.

Tracey did an amazing job with my hair for my wedding! The hour spent in her chair was relaxing and just what I needed the morning of my wedding. I left feeling confident and beautiful!
