I booked an appointment at the Hair Cuttery Kemps River, went online and selected a stylist who had availability on 8/21/2025 around 5 pm. The stylist I normally see at the Hair Cuttery Ghent was on vacation I booked an appointment with her before she left but I needed a haircut badly. The stylist I chose was Crystal, what puzzled me the other stylist had a profile picture and she did not but her title was Master Stylist II so I went for that: I was a little apprehensive when I met her my first impression was OMG she is going to mess my hair up after she ask me what size guard is used on my hair for a haircut. I came in today because I figured I’d get my hair trimmed up and styled for my birthday. Laveria ( I think that how to spell her name) was my stylist. Now, I will give her the benefit of the doubt because she is still learning. She mentioned she just graduated school so she still needs time to gain more skills. That being said it did take a long time for what should have been a 30-45 service. It took 2 hours to trim my split ends and fix up my layers. My bangs were a tiny bit of a mess ( style wise) but that’s okay. I would have given a lower rating, but she was a sweet girl who just needs to gain more confidence in her work.
