I purchased a Groupon and it was my first time making an appointment. The owner accommodated me because I was going out of town. I waited patiently until she arrived to do my pedicure. The last place that I had service damaged my nails with the gel on my toe nails. Needless to say that I will not be going back to them for services. This place at Anu the entire staff were nice an very personable. I was there for about 4 hours but it didn't matter. She took her time and did it right. I mean I didn't get the chance to get my feet or nails done but for the time I spent at the salon they have really made me and the other customers feel at home. They are really good ppl. And they're a black owned establishment. It was a Lil overwhelmed for the tech because she was only one person. If I am ever in the area in need of a pedicure I'm sure it will be alot different since it was crunch time being Easter was the following day. I mean no I didn't get my service done but I would go back.
This is my second time at Anu. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The owner takes the time to greet everyone as they enter. Kay, my nail tech was great. We chatted and laughed the entire time she did my mani/pedi, which looks fantastic. She was patient when I took forever picking the shade I wanted. And Tuck served me 2 glasses of wine while I relaxed in the massage chair. I'll be back!
