I had the most amazing gel pedicure here about a month ago, thank you Tom. I was excited to go back tonight to get a gel manicure. Tu, my technician tonight, was funny and chatted with me about his kids, his vacation and we even joked about my cuticles. Then things went south. I was disappointed that he didn’t clean up my cuticles because honestly, my very hard cuticles is 90% why I get manicures: they are hard and splinter. He barely cut them and I could’ve lived with that but the biggest problem was watching him get dark nail polish all over my fingers and then blaming me for having bad cuticles and picking a dark color. My nail tech was very nice and sweet loved her and how she did my nails a few weeks ago. The one problem I had, that I found very disrespectful was a young man walking up to her and telling her about another customer walking through the door. Telling her about how “she tips so much money and how she missed out on all the money.” I found it disrespectful especially saying that while she’s doing my nails in front of me.
