“I would highly recommend Kristin Roberts, trainer at K9 Off Leash Training in Wilmington. I have two 1-year old Labrador Retrievers, Cooper and Scout, who needed some intense, immersive training. They were really bad at pulling on the leash when walking, jumping up, and being reactive to the smallest distractions. I decided on a 2-week board and train with Kristin. I was a bit skeptical at first that the training would not be enough to get them to change. But after Cooper’s 2-weeks with Kristin, I was amazed. She was so good with him. Would Scout be the same way? Oh yes, he was the same way. I was in disbelief. How did she do that! Needless to say, my boys now listen and follow commands a lot better than before. Another note about how great Kristin is: she had both of my boys on their first birthdays. They were born within a week of each other. Knowing this was a special day, Kristin went out and bought a birthday “pupcake” for both of my boys on their first birthday, along with a candle. Kristin videoed each of the boys as she sang Happy Birthday to them and presented them with their “pupcake!” That’s what I call going over and above the call of duty.
