Velocity has become a second home for my daughter, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better place for her to spend her time. The instructors are both skilled and encouraging, consistently challenging dancers to grow and reach new levels in their craft. The dancers are incredibly talented, and their passion clearly shines through in every performance. The community they’ve created is supportive, nurturing, and genuinely fun to be part of!

I can not say enough good about this studio and its coaches! As a coach in the industry for more than 2 decades, I am incredibly particular when it comes to who is going to fill that role for my daughters. We drive well out of our way to be apart of this family, because that is exactly what it is. I have daughters at all levels of dance and they all started with show case classes before switching to the teams as they became ready. This is a family friendly studio where kids are empowered to find their successes, develop as dancers and more importantly as team mates and good young people. I can not say enough good about this studio and its coaches! Coaching the whole child is so important and that is exactly what the Velocity coaches do. Another favorite thing about this studio and the environments is the diversity. I appreciate the open, inclusive, body positive, environment that highlights, strength, beauty and athleticism and the fact that it comes in all shapes, sizes, colors and genders. Finally, I can not underscore the appreciation that I have for the commitment this studio has to selecting and working with age appropriate music, costumes, and choreography. More than once in my career as a coach and my time as a parent i have been uncomfortable or embarrassed when I have watched other teams/studios at competition because of the blatant disregard for the age of the dancers. I love that i have never felt that way watching any of the Velocity teams whether it was my 4 year old or my 19 year old or any of the open teams.
