Trina is excellent—attentive, detail-oriented, warm, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and really listens to what you want.

After a long stretch of disappointing haircuts across the DMV, especially as someone with thick, coarse, textured Asian hair, it was refreshing to finally find someone who gets it. Instead of over-thinning or going “scissor-happy” like I’ve experienced elsewhere (leaving my ends looking stringy when wet), Trina preserved the natural thickness while still adding shape, volume, and movement.

I’ve been going to Trina for about two years now, and I can’t recommend her enough. When I first started seeing her, my curls weren’t nearly as healthy as they are today. She didn’t just do my hair, she took the time to educate me on how to properly care for it, what products work best for my hair, and how to maintain healthy curls.
The transformation has honestly been incredible. My curls are healthier, more defined, and my hair overall just looks and feels so much better. Katrina is the best!!! She’s saved my hair a few times already from me being impulsive and not booking with her! My hair always thrives when she does it. I recommend her to everyone she’s knowledgeable about ALL hair types and that’s a rarity. Don’t second guess it your hair and scalp deserve the best and she is!!
