“We used NV to do a 2nd story addition on our raised rambler. I got 5 bids from 5 builders and NV design was one of the only companies not to bid a completely different job than requested; which I greatly appreciated!The design process with NV was simple, we went back and forth a few times to iron out details and then sent the design to Arlington for permits.The build process was estimated at 14 weeks and we completed in 16 weeks (which is honestly awesome! I've done other large renos on other properties and NV's timeline was very reasonable!). This included me asking to change the interior door type which themselves took 4 weeks to build from the manufacturer (I want to highlight how well they did by coming in so close to estimate!!!)The finished product is amazing, the build quality was great, the subs on site cleaned up well, our GC was great, and it really turned out well!Have them bid your project!“

“Renovec went above and beyond for our bathroom demo and remodel, a number of upgrades to a second bathroom, installing a new upstairs laundry room, the repair and replacement of overhead light fixtures in two other rooms, and the replacement of rotted deck planks in my family home. (We had our home built in 1970 and needed these upgrades for both maintenance and lifestyle reasons, including making it safer and user-friendly for my elderly mother.)

And honestly, the company and the owner helped rebuild my openness to trust contractors and taught me something about the potential goodwill of strangers after a bad experience with a previous contractor.

After an initial phone conversation, the owner of Renovec came to our house himself and underbid the lowest estimate we’d gotten for the work. He assigned a project manager to the job and a subcontractor, both of whom he was continually in contact with, and he, the PM, and the owner of the subcontracting firm were all invested in ensuring that my family and I were satisfied with the work and progress.

When unexpected scenarios came up (as may happen with multi-faceted jobs, especially with an older home), Renovec did not create change orders but rather came up with innovative, responsible, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that the company implemented at cost. For instance, they reversed the egress direction of a door and replaced it with two half doors to make the limited laundry-room space work, and the owner himself, who is skilled at plumbing, came onsite to create a multi-layered insulation approach to make an outside wall work for plumbing.

The PM always picked up the phone when I called or called me back within a few minutes in response to any question or concern I had, and the owner was also responsive, even though it was clear that the company was not making top dollar on this job. They were just honorable in addition to being skilled.

More than once, someone from Renovec told me that they wanted me and my mother to be happy with the work. From my experience, Renovec is a company that takes pride in what they do and cares about the people they are doing it for. And now I have my dream bathroom and upstairs laundry, which I would not have imagined I would've been able to afford right now, a safe home for my mother to age in place, and a house that is on its way to not only being restored but also luxuriously enhanced.

I am in the process of working with Renovec for a new roof, plan to continue to call upon them as I am able to afford additional renovations over the coming years, and recommend the company highly.“

“HABE construction did a wonderful job on my house. First off we had rotted wood over several exterior pieces, especially over the windows. We had a metal rusted back door that needed replaced as well. They saved us over 35K but just replacing the wood alone namely over the large windows we had. Robert and his team were very patient and constantly asked us if we were happy as they were working. They adjusted to changes and even helped fix a few things not part of the original plan. The door setup looked great. There was some light peeking out and they came back immediately to fix it. Brook Addisu was our main POC to get all the work done. Unfortunately I had to make him wait for almost a year before I could start his team on our house but he helped us out every step of the way. I went through multiple quotes and contractors before I settled with him but I was not disappointed at all. Every time there was an issue it was fixed. He also had a team install our new gutters which look fantastic. I appreciated Brook and Roberts crew professionalism and care were some of the best I've experienced. Thank you all for a great job and please use them for any jobs. They did a wonderful job!“
