We contacted Virginia Building Solutions (VBS) in Tappahannock, VA after receiving a recommendation, that they were a local business with a good reputation for building and installing modular homes. Our home was completed in December 2025 and we are extremely happy with the quality of the Ritz Craft modular home. We have noticed very reasonable energy bills in both the very cold temperatures during the past winter and the heat from this summer. The home is very well insulated and energy efficient.

I highly recommend Virginia Building Solutions! They helped us to build our new house after a devastating fire that destroyed everything that we had. Not only were they efficient, but they were also very accommodating while working with us to the point of making us feel like family! They are still there for us today, five years later. It was a real blessing to have found them!

Had my annual system inspection done today. I remain very happy with the decision to contract with VFS to encapsulate my crawlspace. John did his usual great job with the inspection and exceeded my expectations by identifying and completing a few things needing done beyond the inspection checklist. That's definitely value added!
