Herb took me as a walk-in. We discussed my needs, and I left my head in his hands. Herb shares good conversations while providing a level of comfort that was satisfying. He was professional and delivered exactly what I was going for. Thanks, Herb!
Took my fiancé here, he doesn’t care how his hair looks but I do! I was smiling so hard when he was done. I showed the barber a picture and I told him to do what he thought was best he worked his magic! We will be coming back for his haircuts for now on!Services: Haircut
This barbershop is located in the heart of downtown Suffolk. Right outside, the area is quite busy and bustling with both vehicular and pedestrian traffic most hours of the day. Inside, the space is very open and airy with high ceilings and large windows. There's up-tempo hip-hop and rap music playing in the background. The overall atmosphere seemed pretty chill. It kinda reminded me of VIP Barbershop Lounge in downtown Norfolk on Granby Street. I came here recently for a trim and my barber was Donny. I wanted a very classic military-style haircut: high and tight on the sides and back with a high skin fade, nothing off the top, just shape it up, make it look neater and sharpen my edges. The whole time, I was just watching Donny's technique and I could tell he knew what he was doing. So I had no reason to think he would F up my hair...lol Whew, that's a relief. Afterwards, he even tidied up my facial hair too. Total damage came out to about $30 and change. That's not bad and saves me the long trip to Virginia Beach where I usually spend about the same, sometimes a few bucks more, just to get my haircut. I would definitely come here again in the future.
