I have been going to this dentist office for over 7 years and I’ve never had an issue until recently when I went for my cleaning and was told by the front desk that I had a balance of over $1,000. Never did I know this and I never received a statement and I asked for a breakdown of why all of a sudden I had a balance of $1,000 and was told my insurance did not pay for my daughter’s cleaning and a filling she had a few months prior and for a cleaning i had received back in April. I never knew any of this because naturally I assumed the insurance was covering this. Started going to this dentist office at the top of 2024. I provided my insurance information and the front desk scanned. Had a 25 dollar co pay for the cleaning. 7 months later I have a fill-in routine done and paid out of pocket what I thought was the difference of what my insurance paid. I go back yesterday 6/2/2025 for a cleaning and they tell me my insurance hasnt been paying for my visits and I have an outstanding balance of $900.00. I ask why wasnt this mentioned sooner so that I dont occur such a balance.
