I highly recommend taking your pups to Carly for training! She has helped my pup tremendously! I took my boy Murphy to Carly based off a recommendation from my family members. Murphy is the sweetest boy but struggled with anxiety, over excitement, was tugging when walking, busting out of his crate, etc. (all things that previous training at other places had not addressed very well) We basically never had down time which was taking a toll on both of us. Murphy spent 3 weeks with Carly and came home to be an even better boy than I could’ve hoped for! He’s been home for 2 weeks now and we have zero issues with his crate. He’s continuing do great with his transition back to home life even with testing his boundaries. He listens very well and we are communicating way better than before training. I’m so grateful for his time with Carly and how easy it has been to continue his training at home. Carly did multiple training sessions to make sure I was comfortable knowing how to use the e-collar to communicate with my boy. While he was at training Carly provided updates with pictures and/or videos often. Which I was grateful for because I struggled with the thought of leaving him for so long but I trusted that it would be the best thing for him! Turns out it was the best thing for him and myself!
The manners that our girl learned while there has made her an enjoyable family dog! Before she was unruly and super excitable. Carly has given us the confidence we need to go out and about for stress free walks or field trips. This is a game changer for our family. We can’t say enough good things about Carly and her training!!!
Carly is hands down the most efficient and effective dog trainer I have had contact with. I had previously used two other training facilities in Winchester, but was not impressed with their training methods and the training outcome. Thank goodness I found Carly. I love her setup to board and train dogs; she lives in a rural area and it is perfect to train dogs on distractions such as wildlife, etc. My Willow, a lab mix 1 yr old, had no manners at home. She was not pleasant to be around because she lacked impulse control and was generally in your face all the time, jumping, counter surfing, was not good on a leash so walking was very unpleasant. Carly worked magic with Willow. I initially did individual lessons, and then decided to do the 3 week board and train. I brought Willow home just yesterday, and she is a different dog. She is more laid back, listens to commands, walks perfectly on a leash, and knows “place” so well. Carly’s availability to answer questions once I got home is quick and on point. She is extremely responsive to questions and concerns. Just because the formal training is over, does not mean Carly isn’t available for follow up questions on any issues that may arise at home with Willow that needs addressing. I highly recommend Carly as a trainer for any dog with any issues, whether it just be normal behavior issues or more intense issues with aggression, etc.
