Family Reunion
My husband and I absolutely loved the cabin that we stayed in on Sept 22-30. The park is so beautiful and we loved being right becide the Potomac river. It was amazing seeing deer wandering around and saw some foxes too! Loved that the place is close to everything and easy access to the metro line to visit Washington D.C. We have plans to return next year!

This golf course is a well-run public golf course. Paid staff as well as volunteer staff is friendly and does their job with trust and competence. This course has pace policy which is posted on a metal sign (which is consistent with the USGA policy) and is enforced by the Marshalls, which is not true on other Nova parks golf courses. Brambleton do not have a written pace policy, which may be the reason why the Marshalls do not enforce slow play(we are talking about three open holes front of them). I was told at one time when I joined a group of members for a round at the Pohick Bay GC they discouraged fast play, and had to slowdown. USGA would be baffled by this one. ARGC is a straight forward easy course senior tees are same as ladies tees separated by a yard or two (come on now !) . White tees are fairly long (length is its only defense. Greens condition is perfect, but slow.
just went for the Potomac Heritage trail, but saw a lot of amenities as well. nice park. the trail is right along the river - great views, plenty of wildlife. very enjoyable afternoon.
