“Our family has used this cemetery for decades. My grandmother worked there starting in the 1950s, so it’s always had a special place in my heart. When my father passed away earlier this year, I didn’t hesitate to make an appointment, but I was concerned with how the business had changed over the years. I didn’t need to worry at all. Doreen Landes made my and my family’s experience perfect. Instead of bawling our eyes out, she was cheering us up and comforting us. I don’t think any of us shed a tear while we were with her, but there were many laughs and special memories made as we talked about his life. She made the process so much easier than it would’ve been without her. I was absolutely overwhelmed with everything, but she took me under her wing and simplified everything. She gave me amazing ideas, was so patient and kind, and didn’t rush us. She even worked on things for us after we’d left.
