I have been AMAZED and impressed with KidMed in all of our encounters except today. Medically, we did receive excellent care today, BUT the front desk staff was NOT excellent. Immediately upon my arrival, I had questions about a booked appointment versus a walk in and was met with nastiness and impatience. I was told “Yes, if you hurry up and sit down and complete the paperwork you could potentially be seen sooner” I also overheard this same staff member saying about another family “She must have accidentally put herself on the walk in list and off the appointment list. First time with my 7 month old. Check in process was easy. I was able to do it from my car and we waited there until it was our turn to go back. We could see where we were “in line” on my phone. The wait was not bad at all for cold and flu season. The nurse and doctor were both very thorough, talked sweetly to my babe, and were both very informative. She even got her medication there. Would recommend.
If you are looking for an urgent care office for your kiddos, this is the place. We have been taking our littles to KidMed since we moved here a few years back. It's easier to get an appointment here and be seen in a timely manner compared to their regular PCM. The staff have always been the best. Kind, caring, compassionate, professional and they always listen to our concerns. I've never once felt hurried or dismissed, even when they have been very busy. This place is everything you want when your kiddo isn't feeling well.
