“This place has been a life saver for me. After learning that I had no cartilage left in one knee, I was facing a lifetime of dependence on painkillers and, eventually, a knee replacement. Unfortunately, my body could not tolerate any of the three meds my doctor prescribed, which left me feeling worse and desperate. On my dr's advice, I sought alternative ways to deal with my pain, and I found Drs Mary and Bob McAleese. Since they've been treating me for the last four years, I don't rely on any meds at all. No, the pain is not 100% gone, but the acupuncture desensitizes the nerves so well that whatever pain I feel is absolutely tolerable without painkillers; many days, it doesn't even hurt all. I carry their cards with me and hand them out like pancakes to friends and coworkers when I hear them complaining about body aches and pains. I don't know what I'll do if they ever move or retire!“
