Star Plumbing is a reliable business known for their honesty and punctuality. They recently installed a gas water heater with a vent fan and quickly fixed a clogged washer drain, adding a small piece of equipment for future fixes. Their technicians, including Jason and Bill Bowers, provide excellent service in drain clearing and leak fixing at fair prices. They are highly recommended for their quick and high-quality plumbing services.
Star Plumbing has always been honest and on time and they have never failed to fix whatever issue I have. Most recently they installed a new gas water heater with a vent fan. So nice to have hot water again!
Called them this morning and they were able to come by within five hours. Jason spent quite a bit of time and was able to solve the problem (clogged washer drain). He went above and beyond by adding a small piece of equipment that should allow me to do future fixes. Highly recommend!
All the reviews are correct - Star Plumbing is a GREAT plumbing company. Professional, competent, responsive and reasonably priced. I believe John (Jon) was the Plumber that came to my home and he was great. He arrived to my house right on time, was very professional, quickly assessed the issue and got right to work. I am now going to use Star Plumbing for my own home and rentals. Everything below is written for the person that feels like they have been taken advantage of in the past. There is never a time when I need svc more urgently than when I call a plumber - burst pipes, leaks, clogged drains, etc. - I always feel at a disadvantage as once the company is out there, in this kind of situation, I am going to say yes no matter how expensive and how would I really know if they are being honest - I'm not the expert. I don't mind reasonable charges - plumbers work hard, they need a lot of equipment and the work can be messy- but you know when something does not seem reasonable or you wonder if you're being hoodwinked. Scheduling: Someone answered right away, took my info and within a few hours, a person named Mark called to gather more info and scheduled right away. I gave him a window of a week and he said, let's just get this fixed ASAP. Estimate/Cost: He provided a quote right on the phone. No we'll come out and give you an estimate, etc. I was charged exactly what he quoted Integrity/Honestly: I'm going w/my gut here but I think this is the kind of company that they are here to do the job, do it well and not make it more onerous than it has to beClean: I had a clogged drain, the work was likely harder than originally envisioned, definitely messier and John mustered through with complete professionalism and kept the area scrupulously clean (which was hard because he had to remove waste from the trap underneath the sink)I love doing my Google and Yelp reviews as well to find the BEST company, offering the BEST value (notice not cheap, just a company that will offer you fair prices and are honest) and would highly recommend you stop your research and just call this company if you need a Plumber. p.s. If you use this company, you'll notice they have a really large truck. Not a van but a UHAUL kind of truck. I asked why and he said, we stock a lot of supplies in our truck so we minimize having to go out to buy parts (which has happened with so many plumbers in the past with me where my cost more than doubles because they have to go buy the part ASAP).
