I truly can not recommend Lauren at Off Leash enough. There is no words to properly explain how grateful we are for her. We were nervous to take our 6 year old lab to a board and train she is our baby but man am I glad we did it. Lauren is truly the best trainer you will ever meet. She is firstly one of the nicest people but the way she cares and loves your dog and is committed to making them better every day is something you will not find everywhere. Sadie was reactive and excited, Lauren taught her and us parents how to manage that reactiveness and now we can take her places we never imagined possible! The downtown mall for dinner, the park, farmers markets, the options are unlimited. We can walk her without being constantly stressed and anxious! Lauren has stayed in constant communication with me always checking in to see how Sadie and I am doing (again she TRULY CARES). I seriously cannot put into words how wonderful Lauren is and how grateful we are for her and off leash!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We had to have a floor gutter installed in our basement. Steve and his crew from Cavalier Carpets worked with us to pull back the carpet in two rooms before the floor gutter could be installed then returned to reinstall the carpet after the job was done. We are grateful to Cavalier Carpet for working within our schedule. The men were friendly and did a good job putting the carpet back in place and cleaning up.
I have used their services 3-4 times now. Each time they have been prompt(usually earlier than scheduled), always professional, polite, and efficient. This last time the tech even had to leave for materials and still completed neat, quality work in about an hour and a half. Will always call them for my plumbing needs!

I used Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC for my wedding in October and had a great experience! The team was responsive, professional, and flexible. My trial was great and I was thrilled with the results! The wedding makeup was perfect - not too overdone, but just enough glam to feel special. And my wedding hair stayed in all night through the after party! Great experience all around - I'd highly recommend to anyone getting married in Charlottesville!

Sandy has been doing my hair, nails, and feet for 20 years! She is an expert in every area. She knows her customers and will give the right advice, not just a trendy idea that doesn’t suit your hair or personality. She just spent over an hour working on my feet because of side effects of chemotherapy. That’s dedication to her work and deep care for her customers.
Such an amazing family friendly place! I did a lesson with Gretchen who was phenomenal! I also took my daughter (3) to try and see if she likes golf. The set up they have is fantastic and they had clubs for her to hit which was so wonderful. This is a fantastic place where practice is fun. Everyone is so friendly and ready to help cannot recommend enough!
I had a date scheduled for them to remove dangerous trees, but the week before there was a threat of a hurricane, which made the trees even more dangerous. Mike was able rearrange their schedule so they could fit me in before the storm.
That deserves 5 stars on its own. But I was also impressed by the crew and how much skill they have and how much care they took with my property. They dropped trees with awesome accuracy. Their equipment is also newer and well maintained.
I hired Arbor Care because Mike is a certified Arborist and also certified in tree risk assessment. He actually recommended removing less trees than I expected, saving me money I'm sure.
Unlike the others I contacted, Arbor Care followed through and did the job with zero complaints.
My wife and I have going to Michelle since 1992. Obviously, we highly recommend her and her salon!
So as of right now all we have is the mole treatment plan with this company. Tom Barker is the technician that is taking care of our service right now, and he is doing an exceptional job. He is very polite, courteous, and has great customer service! We are in the market for a new pest control company to take over the rest of our pest control needs because we are unhappy with who we are using now. He was able to get me in touch with the local office here in Ruckersville for this to happen. We are very happy with this company!

Hamilton Plumbing completed a big yard job for me in 2020 and came again this week. The earlier job resulted in rerouting water/sewer to the street via new pipes rather than my old, broken terra cotta underground. This week Hambo arrived the same day I called to fix a leak I knew about, and rusted pipes I didn't know about, under my kitchen sink for a good price, saving me future trouble. I had knee surgery last August and knew I wouldn’t be able to take care of our lawn for a while. I called and D & D came right out, gave us an estimate which we felt like was very reasonable for our yard and they started the next week. They kept our yard looking nice all summer long. ALL of the women who work here are kind, professional and super sweet. Crystal did my hair today. She spent 3 1/2 hours undoing the mess of color I did to my hair. I had lots of old black hair dye mixed in with some loud red. She corrected all of it! I ended up with a warm auburn color. She also cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it! She took great care of me and I will return.

I have used Roto Rooter on numerous occasions for my rental property and the service has always been excellent. The appointments are scheduled quickly and Will showed up on time. Will is also very knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining the problem. He has replaced a water heater, repaired a leaking shower valve, fixed our well pressure tank and changed out our water filters. If I have a plumbing issue, Roto Rooter is who I will call. I know some reviews mention price, but you get what you pay for. The quick and accurate service is valuable, and I think their pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend Roto Rooter.
