Highlands Golf Park is a nationally recognized golf practice facility and driving range that offers a comprehensive experience for golfers of all skill levels. The facility features a fully lit driving range with 44 grass and mat tee stations, practice putting greens, and pitching and chipping areas. It also includes sheltered and heated areas, bunkers, and uneven lie mounds for specialty shots, making it an ideal spot for practice. The quality teaching center boasts certified professional instructors who provide personalized golf instruction for both adults and juniors.
Visitors have praised the friendly and polite staff, who are eager to share information about the facility. The driving range is noted for its excellent variety, including grass and covered mats, with plenty of targets on a flat terrain that is hard to find around Charlottesville. Many have highlighted the exceptional golf instruction received, particularly from the resident pro, who goes above and beyond to ensure students feel prepared and supported. Gretchen, one of the instructors, is highly recommended for her patience and ability to help students have those "light bulb moments."
Additionally, the recently renovated mini-golf course, Pirate Pete's, offers a fun 18-hole experience for a casual outing. Highlands Golf Park also hosts fundraisers for local charities, adding to its welcoming atmosphere. Whether for practice or lessons, it is a great place to groove your swing and enjoy golf.
