“We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen from Blue Ridge Mountain Cabinets. After taking our layout to both major hardware stores and a couple of other local cabinet suppliers, we called Ed and he invited us to come visit his huge workshop in Rocky Mount. Very impressive!The quality of the cabinets are 10x better than the top level of cabinets at the other stores. And the price was comparable; possibly lower because the major box stores wouldn't quote a firm installation price because they have a hard time contracting out installers. And you're not limited to off the shelf sizes... if you need 28.125" instead of 24" or 30", Ed builds exactly what you need. There's not a single level floor or plumb wall in our 40 year old lake house but everything fit perfectly and is absolutely level.The vent hood was my wife's main design criteria... she didn't want a metal funnel hood. BRMC made a beautiful custom cabinet hood that works great. And everything was painted to our exact color choice... Sherwin Williams Naval (SW 6244).The install team was so professional, meticulous, and precise. The finishing trim and touch-ups were flawless.We don't have a single complaint about any step of the process. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!I've attached two pictures... one of a render I made online last year at a cabinet website, just to get a feel for what we could do with the space. I gave this layout to Ed and his team made some improvements... we especially like having the pull-out drawers instead of the standard lower cabinet doors. And the twin spice racks with six pull-out sliding shelves are our favorites.It's amazing how close our kitchen ended up matching our virtual render. If you have a hard time telling the difference, the real kitchen is the photo that has lights on the ceiling.It's so great to have a local, family run business that puts so much quality and pride in their product and service.
