I cannot say enough good things about this place! Melanie has helped me so much over the years with many different issues. She knows what she is doing but always makes sure you feel comfortable.

Hands down, the BEST massage I've ever had. Melanie was amazing and really worked out all of my tense, knotted muscles. I've never left a massage feeling this relaxed and loose. You can tell she really enjoys her work. I don't live in the area, but would absolutely make frequent appointments if I did!

Amazing experience! Definitely one of the most unique massages I’ve had. Melanie’s attention to detail is incredible. She focused on my “problem” areas, and I left completely relaxed. 10/10 would recommend, I’ll definitely be back!

Heart & Sole Barefoot Massage specializes in Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage and Deep Tissue Bodywork. Melanie Dowell brings her 24 years of massage therapy experience to the table customizing each massage to address the clients tissue-issues. Flowing Swedish, targeted shiatsu, deep tissue, enhancing aromatherapy, and Thai stretching are seamlessly woven together . My goal is to work out painful knots, improve range of motion, and enhance relaxation. Located in the historic and charming Grandin Village neighborhood in Roanoke, Virginia.
