I spoke with Dr. Slakman several times prior to my appointment, which impressed me greatly that he took the time to explain things before even seeing me. My actual appointment was with Dr. Shepherd today, and I was equally impressed with him as well! He didn't make me feel rushed at all and took the time to guide me as to what would be happening today, which helped greatly since I was a little nervous. He even threw in a few jokes as well :) The adjustments went smoothly (from my point of view), and I feel a difference already. Bob was also very kind and explained the check-in/out process and insurance aspect of things well, too. Overall, I had a wonderful visit with wonderful staff and providers. “Love Dr Brian! I’d been having crippling back pain for months. My wife talked me into going to the chiropractor and Well Adjusted Roanoke was close to home. Went in and got an appointment and Dr Brian adjusted me and I had so much relief! Came back the next week and after that session my back was almost perfect! Dr Brian asked what was causing my back pain, when I told him it was mowing my 3 acres on my 40 year old craftsman mower he literally offered to let me borrow his new John Deere mower so I could see if I would like it better before I decided to buy one myself! Who does that?? Great chiropractor but also just a great human being!“

“I injured myself and knocked my pelvic bone out of place. I went to the emergency room, waited 8 hrs for them to inform me they could not help me, they sent me home with hard drugs and said they could not do the manipulations need to align my pelvic bone. I called Capps office Saturday morning, they fit me into their schedule the same day. Dr. Capps evaluated my condition, relaxed my muscles to make sure my body can handle the manipulation. He then proceeded to align my pelvic bone. He put me on strict bedrest with ice. Informed me to stay away from heat and in 2 days I was able to walk around with minimal pain. He also provided some after care advice to be sure I don't knock myself put of place by suggesting I get a back brace when trying to lift heavy objects. I had a wonderful experience and I am so grateful for them making my issue a priority.“

“I saw Dr. Wilson for almost constant stabbing pain in my thoracic spine after receiving injections at a pain clinic that did not help. Medication was also not helping. He first treated me three times a week and gradually decreasing visits. I had almost immediate relief and continued treatment until all was good. From his assistant Dianna to Dr. Wilson himself, I was always treated with kindness and respect. This was in 2019 and I have not had any pain since. Thank you.“

“Dr. Brown and her team are just incredible people. I started going to her at the end of my pregnancy for back and hip pain, which of course she fixed right away. Now she’s seeing our baby. He was crying at least half the day from pain. She fixed his back and now we have a happy baby! She’s highly educated in her field and compassionate. I would recommend her to anyone.“
