I can’t say enough good things about RVA Pediatrics! We have been so pleased with our experience so far (we have a 2 month old who has been going since birth), and we are especially thrilled with our little one’s doctor, Dr. Terry. The entire staff has been so helpful - they are patient with me even when I have a million questions (first time mom here), they are encouraging when we express anxieties, and I’m also really happy/impressed with their COVID precautions.

If anyone needs a pediatrician, there aren’t words to explain how much I love Dr Joy Vergara (“Dr Joy”). Not only was she my doctor when I was a teenager just diagnosed with Crohn’s, but now she’s my premature seven week old’s, and in one visit today she did more for my daughter’s feeding problems than all of her NICU’s SLPs did in the four weeks she was bottle feeding there. Having been both her patient and now the mother of her patient, I know firsthand that she listens to both the parent and child carefully, including any concerns they have, she explains things clearly, and she is so so knowledgeable. Cannot recommend her enough! She’s now the THIRD generation going to this practice. My mom and aunts went to see Dr Overton when the practice was founded in the 70s. All of the children in our families have gone ever since.
