you absolutely must book with Scarlett for color services and all else!! Scarlett is meticulous, patient, and listens & works to meet your needs no matter how small. her work is extremely consistent and she always delivers on exactly what i ask for! K Baucom is a professional and warm salon environment that everyone should feel completely comfortable in. i am never switching stylists!!

I moved to Richmond from LA, leaving behind a stylist that I loved and trusted. I found Scarlett by asking every person with curly hair that I saw where they got their haircut (and also Reddit). Had my first cut with Scarlett a few weeks ago and it is excellent. We had a lil chat about my hair goals before she started and all my concerns were heard and taken into account. I will 100% be going back to Scarlett for my next cut!

K Baucom Salon is an absolute gem! The stylists are not only incredibly friendly but also truly educational—they take the time to explain the process and help you understand what’s best for your hair. What I really appreciate is that clients are never double-booked. When you're in the chair, you are the top priority, and the experience feels calm, focused, and personalized.
