I had a wonderful experience w/Jalisa at the Staples Mills salon today! I was greeted at the front with a smile and someone holding the door open, and that set the tone for my entire visit.
I was seated and made comfortable and told that she was running a little begin; which was fine. As I waited, I noticed that Jalisa was gently coaching another stylist through a haircut on a client with extremely long, thick hair. I later learned that Tionna was a student, so it was nice to see that Jalisa was very encouraging and suggested different techniques to help her through it. My 9 year old daughter managed to get a Hot Wheel car STUCK in her hair. We tried everything at home to get it out before calling the salon to figure out next steps. They were so sweet and helpful from the start. They offered to try and get it out for us so she didn't have to cut her hair (it would have to be a big chop because of where and how much hair was stuck in it) and they gave us options in regards to cutting it. Ultimately she decided wanted to cut it and the salon staff got her right in and were so friendly and welcoming to her.
