Based on the reviews, Elite Cleaners is a professional and well-run business that provides excellent dry cleaning, laundering, and tailoring services. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, professional, and flexible. They handle delicate, high-end materials with care. Their seamstress is absolutely incredible, flawlessly repairing ripped pants, shirts, and delicate dresses. She also saved a leather jacket from further tearing and repaired it so well it can be worn again. One customer brought in a wedding dress that had been filthy for eight months, and Elite Cleaners restored it back to white with no trace of the previous stains. Another had a stain removed from a vintage dress that was sure to be set in. The service is always perfect, with clothing ready within a day or two. The prices are great and very reasonable. The location is great, and the parking is not bad. Customers feel confident that all valuable, delicate items are in good hands and would definitely use and recommend them for any clothing service.
I found this shop just researching online and was skeptical because of the minimal reviews. Also it was first time getting anything tailored so I wanted to ensure I found the right people to tend to my garments. The owners of the shop were extremely friendly, professional, flexible, and optimistic in helping me achieve the looks I wanted for my clothes. I purchased men suit clothes from the thrift store and wanted them tailored to fit me in 3-4 days. I have used elite cleaners 1-2 times a week for dry cleaning and laundering over the past year, and the service is always perfect. The staff are friendly and respect your time, as my clothing is always ready within a day or two. They also have great prices. I would definitely use and recommend them for any clothing service.
Elite Dry Cleaners is hands-down the only legit dry cleaner in Richmond. After trying four others in the area previously and dealing with everything from lost items to clothes returned completely unclean, I almost gave up completely and I started bringing my dry cleaning back home to NYC on trips.
Elite completely changed that. They handle delicate, high-end materials with care. Delicate materials cleaned so thoroughly, stains I thought were permanent are actually gone.
