Brought my twin 6 month Olds in to be seen today. I was overwhelmed with the rapid questioning from the nurses and doctor. I understand they have a certain time schedule, but I felt like we were just a number. One of my twins was so fussy from teething and I mentioned that to the doctor, but he just kept rolling. Thank goodness I had someone with me to help. At least pause for a moment and check on your patient if they are out of sorts. Very dissappointing.
Never did any sort of tests or anything after multiple appointments. They only wanted to treat the symptoms and not the root cause. After seeking a second opinion they were appalled at the care we received.
If this site gave me an option to give zero stars, I would. First, we arrived with 13 pages of paperwork filled out prior to arriving to the office at 12:30 pm; our appointment was at 1:00 pm. When we arrived more than the fifteen minutes prior as requested by their office, the door was locked. The receptionist held up her finger, which I assumed was to tell us that she was going to open the door in a moment. Nope, apparently she held her finger up to say they opened back up at 1, because the door wasn't opened a minute before. She told us to sit after taking our paperwork and even though everything was filled out and we were the only patients in office, we still waited over 20 minutes in the lobby. The receptionist was rude to us, but was sure to be nice to the doctor's children when they made an appearance in the office, so I'm assuming that's why she still had her job. We get called back only to find the patient care staff is completely lacking of patience, sympathy, or understanding. The doctor didn't listen to anything we had to say about our son and diagnosed my son before even walking in. After being there over an hour, this doctor came in the room, put his finger up my sons rectum, gave a diagnosis and a prescription for formula, and left five minutes later. We were originally told my insurance covered formula by this office, only to be told by pediatric connections it does not, and this office refused to call us back to see if there was an alternate formula that could be used for his "allergy." At $50 dollars a can, I wasn't sure how we were gonna be able to feed him, but don't worry, this office, nor the office manager was concerned enough to return the voicemails left. Thank goodness our story has a happy ending, after hearing nothing back, we got a second opinion from another office and our pediatrician and it was figured out my son was diagnosed INCORRECTLY and his case cleared up with antibiotics and was able to drink his original formula. Our pediatrician also tried to reach out to let him know we wouldn't be to any follow up appointments since his issue was solved, and she was ignored as well. The doctor was friendly enough when he was in the room for the five minutes we saw him, but I can't say it enough, PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! I have several other recommendations I can give, but just because the doctor was friendly with my husband and myself, doesn't mean that he's listening to your cares and concerns of your child to provide the best care for them! It still angers me to this day how this office and doctor operate and this appointment was when he was five months old - he's over two now.
