Hands-down the best choice for alterations! I first came to AG Alterations with a bridesmaids dress that was several sizes too big (due to a hiccup during ordering process), thinking it was a lost cause. She worked miracles and the dress fit as if it had been made for me by the time she was done! Aksinia is kind, welcoming, and honest and I always know my gowns are in good hands with her. I’m so glad I’ve finally found someone I can trust, and I have gone to her several times since I initially found her. I highly recommend her services!

I was referred to Aksinia by Blue Sage Bridal in November 2023. I was actually given a list of multiple bridal alteration shops in the Richmond, VA area. I was on a very tight turn around schedule and needed the dress in under 2 weeks for my destination vow renewal in Italy. AG Alterations was the most responsive and helpful of all the shops that I called. Aksinia gave me a next day appointment, convenient to my work schedule, and was extremely kind and responsive from start to finish. Aksinia is the person you want to alter your beautiful wedding dress!! I bought my dress a year out from my wedding when I was 4 months postpartum...when it came in in June it fit like a glove! Fast forward to September, I had lost so much baby weight and she worked with my constantly changing body! I had 3 total appointments with her to make sure it fit like a dream! She is extremely talented at her craft and I am so lucky I found her! I cannot recommend her enough!!
