I'm a local wedding planner and the owner of When Hearts Unite and I'm always referring my bride's to AG Alterations. It was finally my turn to get married and I knew that I could trust Aksinia to get my dress perfect. I bought my dress online so I was prepared for it to need alterations, but it was way bigger and had a deeper plunge than I expected. During my consultation, Aksinia took a few scrap pieces of lace from the desk and pinned it to the plunge, pinned it where it needed to be taken in and I was out of there within 10 minutes. When I came back to try it on after the alterations my dress was better than I could have ever imagined! The lace she added to the plunge V neck matched perfectly and looked like it had been made that way. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I am so grateful for AG Alterations for making that possible!
AG Alterations was amazing to work with! My daughter lives in Pennsylvania for college, but got married in locally and Aksinia worked with her school and travel schedule to fit her in for multiple fittings, the last one being the week before the wedding. She is super efficient and made excellent suggestions. She was able to take the dress in significantly due to my daughter's weight loss and had matching lace for a couple of problem areas. She also altered my other daughter's bridesmaid dress and quickly spotted a flaw in the fabric which we had not seen, necessitating a return and exchange. Highly recommend!
