I received exceptional and prompt emergency services from everyone (staff and doctors). Subsequently, I appreciated Ms. Sonya Bailey in the Radiology Department that helped expedite a CD and reports being mailed to me.

My mom was flown to Reston From Jefferson Monday morning 11/11/24 in critical condition. I wasn't able to make the drive, but I called 19 times Monday and nobody would tell me anything. The 1st time I called, I was told they were trying to stabilize her to call back in an hr, which I did, but after the 1st phone call, nobody would tell me anything. My dad, and brother also tried calling, they'd either hang up on us, wouldn't answer, or they refused to give us updates. We were told the Dr would call us ( I have yet to hear from a Dr ) I even tried contacting Chief Of Staff, and nobody called me back. Finally, 10 hrs after she arrived, I was given a little bit of an update. Fast Forward to today 11/13/24, my mom called me at 4:59 am, they left her in mess from 6:30 pm, until 4:30 am, despite her calling them, they just left her alarm going off. Then when they finally went in to assist her, the two women were laughing at her and making fun of her. I contacted the patient advocate at the hospital, we'll see if they actually call me back. I am very disappointed at this hospital and how my mom has been treated, as well as the total disregard for the patients, and their families. This was a scary, and traumatizing time for all of us, and they just let us strew in it.
