While there were times that I hoped for better communication processes. The overall standards and effort were sufficient. In addition I used them via home depot as the primary integrator and I have provided them a review elsewhere. Safe to say these guys did well with what they were given, which was not much. Keep a sharp eye when making major changes (which should be default) as the home owner and do expect to be conscious and play an active role in tracking progress and issues that come up. Otherwise a solid contractor.

Ortiz Construction completely renovated our kitchen down to the studs with new floor and ceiling. It was a big job and they were great. Our kitchen looks fantastic. This was a Home Depot job in materials with Ortiz doing the labor. The guys were punctual and professional and all the work was high quality. Very satisfied!

We had a pretty small project - installing a wall of cabinets in our mudroom and moving some electrical to accommodate the cabinet design. Mr. Ortiz was fantastic - he communicated regularly, he showed up on time, he was flexible when the cabinet order was repeatedly messed up. Not only is he highly competent and responsive, but he is a genuinely nice guy! And he's a dog lover, so there's that to recommend him, too!
