About Life Time
Life Time Reston is a top athletic country club that offers a variety of fitness options for its members. The facility features a large fitness floor, unlimited studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools. Members benefit from unlimited group training and personalized attention through the Signature Membership program. The structured classes like GTX, Ultra Fit, Edge, and Amp cycling are especially helpful for members working on specific issues, such as strengthening knees or fixing hamstring problems. The recovery area includes a cold table, which has been praised for helping with recovery. The staff is friendly and the facilities are well-maintained, though some reviews mention that cleanliness could improve, especially in the men's restrooms, showers, and locker areas. The gym equipment sometimes shows dust and dirt, indicating that cleaning may not be frequent enough. The gym also offers a Kids Academy, where staff members like Soniya, Miryam, and Sam are highly appreciated. The overall atmosphere is great, and members find the amenities and staff helpful. Though the prices are on the higher side, many feel it is worth it when using all the available services. The club provides a comprehensive environment for those seeking a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Lifetime Reston is both a luxury and a necessity for our family. It offers great workout classes to make working out more enjoyable, while the resources for individual workouts are top notch. Lifetime kids is a godsend for people without family nearby. We can drop them off for 2 hours, so we can be better, healthier humans. We are so grateful for the outside pool during the summer. It’s as fun for the parents as the kids—super spacious and clean with amble seating. The bathrooms are stocked with anything you may need if you forget an item, from razors to makeup wipes. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoy our membership.
The old blonde lady at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. She was explaining the rules in a very aggressive and even was mentioning how she had to be able to sue us to let a guest in. I understand she was trying to follow the rules but the way she was delivering the message was unacceptable.
Been a member here for the past 2.5 years and have noticed a steady decline. The facilities and well built and they are generally trying to update things. However the constant dual music and loud instructors in the open area of the GTX classes overwhelms the cardio and lifting areas.
This is especially true given the fact that there are other closed room offerings that are available. It could be used for this purpose. The fact that they run two different music and a personal class instructor over the loud speakers all at once causes an overwhelming environment for anyone other than those 15 people or so in the class.
