“I have had mostly positive experiences with the Fairfax office. I have only been to the Alexandria office once. Didn't care for the darkly lit office. I have had the best care from Dr Atiyeh, Dr. Long, and Dr. Milan. Dr. Osario was pleasant and gentle. I did not care for Dr. Estabrook, but she did not do anything wrong she just seemed rather uncollaborative and dry. They will let you space vaccinations as long as you are informed, and they do a decent job of educating you on timelines. Please understand that the knowledge of vaccinations by any physician is limited to what the drug reps allow them to know. It is up to you to do any additional work by asking for the package insert for all vaccines if you want more details. I would like to add that my 1 year old is very healthy. That I am a medical professional so my conversations are tailored that way. I do believe that most minor ailments should be fine, but the only physician I would trust with a complex case is either Dr. Atiyeh or Dr. Long. There may be others but I have not had that interaction yet.“

“I know....I know...how many times can one person update a review about a small town pediatrician? But CAP deserves all of the accolades and more. The beginning of the school year in a pandemic has been crazy, but the last two weeks have been absolutely madness. With more than half of the DMV being exposed to Omicron it has been very hard for families to find care and get tested for COVID. My sister's daughter had an exposure plus fever and they flat out told her they were not able to see her for two weeks due to the crushing load of inquiries they were handling. I also heard other horror stories of parents waiting in lines for hours in order to get tests for their children. At CAP? I waited on the phone for about twenty minutes to be connected with a representative who was able to get me a next-day appointment for my eight month old. Once I was in, Dr. Fox was able to check my daughter, give me lots of advice and information PLUS get my other daughter in for a PCR and check up the same afternoon. With the amount of patients she was seeing, she was upbeat and helpful. I am so thankful for her and the rest of the staff in times like this.“
