I recommend Oakton urgent care for all your needs. I’m in tears right now. Dr Allingham saved my life. Doctor Allingham is my entire family’s doctor and he is amazing. I have cancer and I would not and could not move forward with treatment until speaking with Dr A. A little of my history: I’ve been suffering in pain and menopausal symptoms for 10 years. Doctor were not taking me serious. Drs (not dr A) threw medications at me which only made things worse. 8 years into my ordeal A mass that all my doctors called a cyst that was 7cmx6cmx12 ruptured and I went i the hospital bc I was bleeding heavily for the first time in 8 years. Prior to that my period completely stopped. The entire time all tumor markers were normal but they hadn’t tested my inhibin a or b. So they do emergency surgery and pathology comes back granulosa cell tumor. I get the surgery to remove one ovary. I refused chemo. So to recently my cancer of my ovary came back a year later and then it spread to my ovary omentum and kidney. Drs told me either have surgery then do chemo surgery or in home hospice. They don’t know what agent to use. They were not clear and they basically told me bc gct so rare I would be a Guinea pig. Today I went to consult dr A bc he always treats me as a whole. I was dead set on not getting chemo until I spoke to Dr A. Dr A came up with a care plan that eased all my fears he even recommended peptides. Something even my oncologist did not offer. Then he set up blood work to monitor the cancer every week so I can see progress. Again my oncologist did not offer this. My oncologist told me either Do chemo or Die. Prior to speaking with Dr A l choose to die because my grandma had cancer 15 year and denied chemo the entire time and the first time she choose to do chemo she died. Dr A saved my life because I was willing to perish. I was not able to sleep thinking about all of this and Dr A has eradicated all of my fears and answered all of my questions. Dr A has tailored a care plan for me and even decided to start my chemo at a lower dose then gradually increase. I ran all this past my oncologist and he told me that DR A solved the puzzle because they had no idea how to render the best care in my case because the cancer is so rare and never been studied. Dr A knows all of his patients and every detail. To my oncologist I was just another case. Dr A makes me feel cared for and like my care is individually implemented. Thank you DR A Thank you Neelu. I will live and not perish. My family thanks you. He saved my life several times now that I think about it. I’m was put on several blood thinners and the oncologist did not catch it. Dr a caught it and questioned me and immediately altered the meds and doses and got me on track. Thank you so much.
I dropped in as a pitiful geezer with a stubborn Upper Respiratory Infection (URI). In no time at all Dr. Allingham had a plan in hand and within 24 hours I was feeling much better. Modern, professional concierge care. I am so grateful the clinic is literally within walking distance.
