“My dad moved unexpectedly to Virginia and Home Helpers was assigned by the VA Hospital as his caregiver provider.
From the moment I started working with the company; Tracy, the owner called personally to welcome us and explain a little about her company. Jannie, our nursing supervisor; spent almost 2 hours at our home assessing my fathers needs and creating a care plan that is catered to him specifically. The efforts made to provide coverage for his allotted hours by Sydney and Patrice were excellent. They communicated with me every single day the status until they were able to get a primary caregiver.
I cannot say enough about Arizona and her professionalism and demeanor. She always has the brightest smile and assists Dad with everything he needs. He just loves her and importantly; trusts her.

If you are looking for a company to provide exceptional care not only from the care provider but also the administration/office staff you would be doing yourself a disservice to not hire Home Helpers.“

Then Transfed to Emporia office. After a while then I quit my job in good standings. Less than a year; I was employed in South Hill office. However recently that office has been closed 2026 now with a new location. I love the flexibility, of Care advantage having
Multiple locations for employment. I have enjoyed being able to get to do. what I love doing taking care of clients. That are in need of assistance. In their home health wise. I have enjoyed our new CARE ACADEMY ASSISTANCE FOR IN-SERVICES. IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE.
THE 12 TEST THAT WERE PRESENTED FOR COMPLETION. BEING THAT I FIRST GOT MY GERIATRIC NURSE AIDE LICENSE 1987. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE CHALLENGE AND TO BE REFRESHED WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE.
