Honestly, I have never been to a laundromat prior to going into Washland today. I have only used our washer/dryer at home. I wanted to wash all of our comforters/bedding at a laundromat and this place was perfect. Ms. Amy was so kind and helpful when I came in. She assisted me with getting a laundry card and explained how the machines worked. It was such a pleasant experience and I would absolutely come back to this location and have already recommended it to several people!

My experience here has always been phenomenal. Mrs. Amy is always welcoming, kindhearted, respectful, and friendly. It’s because of her, I will always continuously to come back. You rock my love( AMY) hope I’m spelling her name right

I was having issues with a water line to our house, and found myself going to a laundromat for the first time in quite a while. Wash Land on Indian River Rd. in Chesapeake was a good experience. The building, including the machines and restrooms were extremely clean, well lit, and appeared to be safe. Kim, the attendant, patiently and pleasantly walked me through the process of getting a card to use for payment. No more hunting for quarters or stopping by the bank. I highly recommend this establishment.
