Came to Russell's on a whim while on a trip to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area and walked out with a vintage Yamaha G60A made in Japan! I got a great price for it, too! Russell has a great selection of instruments and gear! I have already put countless hours into that guitar. This shop was a hidden gem and I highly recommend to shop from Russell if you have a need for some musical gear!

Russell is a prominent local drummer, so naturally, his shop carries lots of drum gear. Lots! But Russell's Music World is packed with guitars, basses, mandolins, the occasional banjo -- all instrument good deals on consignment and even hand-made new gear. There's sheet music, books, sticks, reeds, strings, accessories -- you name it, and it's probably there. And you should just stop in and chat live music and jazz, or take a lesson, or . . . well, you get the idea. This is a gem of a place, and Russell is a gem himself. Come, see, and try out an instrument.
