Moving to a new area means you have to start "dating" new service providers.. nails, hair, car.. lol I did some searching to find a place that I would like in the area. I was a little skeptical because I had some family that didn't have a good experience at Dominican salons in this area. I saw a sign on the back of a car with this place's name and phone number. I felt like it was a sign that day. I called and actually stopped by to check the place out. Sully was very friendly and I told her that I would be back. I came back a few days later because I needed my hair done for an event. She did a beautiful job. I was happy to see that she is about health hair too like the place I've been going to for over 10 years in DC. I'm happy that I found her on the first shot! I'll keep going.

I had a very nice hairdo. My scalp is very tender and I usually dread the blow dry part. Suly's blow drying was not uncomfortable at all. I had great service and loved my hair when I left. Friendly service.

I was sad to see my "usual" salon had closed. So in true Yelper fashion, I searched for another salon. When I walked in I felt a positive vibe. The shop is open and not dark or dungeon'like. One thing I will say is if you like your hair scrubbed, you'll need to let the wash woman know. She's very gentle so she would be great for children. But I likes my head scrubbed (lol!). Everything is up to code and the shop is very clean (I'm Inspector Gidget. Extra? Yes, I know...and yes I meant Gidget). Suly is about healthy hair. And she doesn't burn when using the blow dryer!! Unicorn technique. She showed me that I needed a trim. And even though this was my first time to her shop, I trusted her. My hair was bouncing and behaving!! She did a phenomenal job. Suly is a sweet woman and I will continue to patron her salon.
