My name is Soo-Mee .. I found this salon on Google searching for Korean salons near me. Respectfully, I am Korean myself and know that in my experience Koreans are good with curly perms (mostly) … I loved the authenticity of the atmosphere and how welcoming and friendly the staff was. I’m usually very picky and nervous when it comes to my hair and they certainly put my worry to ease! I got a trim of my dead ends and she kept my length. I asked for a spiral curly perm and they did a wonderful job!!! I couldn’t be happier with my results!!! I will definitely be coming back! gamsahabnida!
If you are looking for a salon kind of relaxation and self-care, this will not be your choice. The assistant who washed my hair has nails like needles that scrap my scalp. She was very rough washing and drying my hair. If you bring a photo and asked to have a similar cut, you need Dou double think, most likely you won't get it. However, they take walk-in or last minute call. The owner is very fast in cutting and trimming my hair. Since she doesn't really speak English, there will be no communication and higher risk walking out with the type of hair you did not desire. It cost $30 for shampoo and trim.
The way the owner talked is a bit rule and short. But her work is good and fast. The price is average, the salon has been there long time so I think they have some regular clients but most of the time when I came, it's empty so no need for appointment.
