I see Kira Derby at this practice and my experience has been awesome. She listens to my concerns and addresses them in a way that makes me feel heard and understood. She is very kind and compassionate and it’s obvious that she truly cares about her patients and her profession. I would recommend her to anyone!
I have been going to this practice for years now. I think my psychiatrist is great, but I agree with everyone saying that the front desk staff needs improvement. It’s a pain trying to get ahold of them. I have given up trying to call their office because it always goes straight to voicemail which follows a cat and mouse game of calling each other back numerous times. It does not help they call off an unknown number, as my phone sends it to spam a lot of times. They are also not the friendliest people, but this does not bother me as much as not being able to contact them easily. It’s so unfortunate that this practice has great clinicians and such a terrible front office :( When I started seeing my psychiatrist I asked to be added to the waitlist for a therapist in 2023. The waitlist doesn’t exist. If I hadn’t asked, I would have never been called. At my most recent follow up I stood at the check in window while two receptionist talked with one another. Didn’t acknowledge my existence even after I made eye contact with one. I work in healthcare and it makes me sad that this how a demographic of vulnerable people are being treated. Will be following my psychiatrist when she leaves the practice, thank God.
