About The Club at Viniterra
The Club at Viniterra is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones, situated 20 miles east of downtown Richmond in New Kent. This upscale course is part of the Viniterra residential community and is located near the award-winning New Kent Winery. Golfers have praised the friendly staff and the enjoyable course layout, which offers several tee boxes suitable for different skill levels. The course is one of the best around, with fairways that are perfect and in excellent condition. The greens are very true and fair, even after aeration, and everything from the tee boxes to the greens is in immaculate shape. It is a fantastic and fun course that isn’t overly challenging but still keeps you on your toes. The friendly staff, including those in the pro shop and on refreshment duty, provide excellent customer service. The Club at Viniterra is highly recommended for both its quality golfing experience and the welcoming atmosphere.
For those who haven’t played there recently, you are missing a gem. Course has recovered so well from last winters ice and snow damage. Greens are fantastic (please fix ball marks). Fairways are like carpet with a few remaining areas under repair. The crew has done an amazing job.
Played here on the 14th and was a little worried due to how the course had looked earlier from reviews. Viniterra is in great shape and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful!
Played this morning in a 4 ball. What a course!! For the money, I’ve yet to play a course as well kept, interesting, difficult and scenic. Amazing place, worth the drive.
