“When we called Sunny Day Landscaping, our backyard was a major hazard: overgrown with dead roots and weeds that attracted aggressive stinging insects, which was crucial to eliminate because one of our dogs is highly allergic.

Mike, the owner, was amazing! We initially only asked for a simple power rake, seed job, and a small patio for our grill, but Mike’s consultative approach impressed us immediately. He visited multiple times to discuss the true potential of the yard, providing greatg ideas that maximized the patio area while leaving plenty of space for our dogs to run.

We ended up with a gorgeous, curved 400 sq. ft. custom patio. Mike's expertise really shone when he suggested burying the downspouts beneath the patio with drainage, since we have a downward sloping yard. This critical detail will hopefully help with our sandy soil problem and ground bees—a brilliant solution we never would have considered.

Mike and his crew were extremely professional and punctual, efficiently tackling what turned out to be a larger project than expected. We absolutely LOVE our new patio and the peace of mind it gives us. We can't wait for the grass to grow in so we can send Mike the amazing before and after photos!
