They offer several services, shave, shampoo, etc., but I can spoke for those. It’s honestly one of the best places I have found for a haircut around the Midlothian/Chesterfield area. The shop has a great team, the service is professional, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

I especially want to mention Baver. He is very talented, pays close attention to detail, and really takes his time to make sure the haircut comes out right. You can tell he cares about his work and about giving customers a good experience.

“I’m blown away. Never said that about a haircut ever. I don’t particularly like getting a haircut because I never found a place that treated me and my hair with so much respect. I provided Bruce with an almost impossible challenge and he killed it. He took his time and turned my thin, balding hair into a work of art. He tightened up my beard and I feel and look so much better. I found a barber at first visit. I will only go here going forward and so glad to have a place where I want to frequent and keep a fresh look. Thanks for everything.“

I had a change of heart with my review. I still feel that services need to consider peoples time when an appt is made and being 45 minutes late is a lot. However, the cut was great and the owner called me make it right. That deserves credit. Might I suggest that if you are running that late, you consider offering a discount on the next cut. That may help retain people or at leastnorevent a bad review.

Original post: Had an appt at 12:30 on a Sunday with anyone available. I waited for 45 minutes while 2 other people went before me and one did not have an appointment. I just needed a trim. I wont be returning. Too bad because its really close to my home.“

From the moment I walked into Royal Excellence, the owners made me feel right at home. I didn’t even have an appointment, and it was no problem at all. We had a great conversation the entire time, and it honestly didn’t even feel like I was getting a haircut - or JUST a haircut, but a full salon experience.
