5450 Pouncey Tract Rd, Glen Allen“We switched to Dr. Morris and Pouncey Tract Animal Hospital from Short Pump and could not be happier. Dr. Maurice herself took 54 minutes to get down on the floor and earn my dog trust before she even started examining him. She’s as good with people as she is with animals, she explained to me a number of treatment options for my dog’s paw condition, and collaborated with me on a solution. I cannot recommend highly enough.“

11399 Nuckols Rd, Glen Allen“Not sure why it has taken me this long to write this review, since we luckily found Shady Grove Animal Clinic 12 years ago. Dr. Lucas is our main vet here, and he is very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Since we have 2 dogs with multiple medical issues, we have been cared for by every vet at the facility and they are all terrific. The entire staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. But if you don’t believe me, ask our dog who never wants to leave this place and can’t wait to visit again!“

“We had another great experience at our recent visit, even though our 5-year-old rescue was very timid and nervous. Dr. Scott was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind throughout the entire appointment. He took the time to let our dog warm up at his own pace and never made us feel rushed.
It means so much to have a veterinarian who truly understands anxious rescue dogs and treats them with compassion and respect. The staff was welcoming, and the overall environment felt calm and supportive.
We’re so grateful for the care and empathy shown to our pup, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice, especially to anyone with a shy or fearful pet.“
