The vets, and vet techs (especially Erika), are the best! The kindest and most compassionate. We recently took our Lulu to them for canine dental cleaning which requires general anesthesia. We had some anxiety about how the whole procedure would work, but when we came back to pick Lulu up, she was lying comfortably on a towel, covered by a blanket. Erika sat with us as she came around explaining what we could expect as she came out of anesthesia. Very sweet! She even offered to carry her out to our car since Lulu could walk yet. They even trimmed her toenails while she was out at no extra charge! Highly recommend all around!

The staff went above and beyond explaining the procedure (synovial fluid drain) our cat required which was beyond their company’s ability/scope of services. I get it. However, they also spent an hour expressing as much fluid as they were able and at least now our cat is out of pain. We’ll be back for more standard treatment; will go to a full service vet for the drainage. Very friendly, honest and kind people work here. I trust them.

Value vet is great!!! We have three dogs and two cats so we find ourselves at the vet quite often. Over the last couple years it seemed like I could never escape our local vet with spending $500, no matter what what going on. We moved over to Value Vet about a year ago, we have been very happy with both the McLean and Falls Church locations.
