I had a pair of Silhouette glasses that I got when I was 17 finally break down after 7-8 years and I was in the market for frameless glasses to match the previous ones. However, multiple places (warby parker, lens crafters) said my prescription was impossible to make frameless. I have negative -8 for my eyes, so I gave up hope and was ready to settle for less... until I came to Sterling Optical!
They said it was definitely possible and they made the process easy and seamless, having multiple frames available to choose. They also allowed me to bring in my old glasses so that they could cut the lenses exactly the way I wanted them. It was not cheap but... read full review
I had such a great experience at Sterling Optical Tysons Corner! Michael, the manager, was absolutely wonderful — so professional, patient, and caring while helping me choose the right frames. I truly appreciate his outstanding help. And a big thank you to Eric, the technician, for doing such an excellent job cutting the lenses and making my glasses. My prescription is very complex, but everything turned out perfectly. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this place!
I am a regular customer at Sterling Optical in Tysons Corner Mall. For three years, Erik has helped me and my family with our glasses. While everyone working here is friendly and super helpful, I am specifically impressed with Eric’s assistance in getting me my new glasses. He is knowledgeable, polite, and provides such quick service. He is careful and put together my new glasses perfectly.
