I visit Paul Mitchell hair salon school about two to three times a year for a cut or perm. The students are the best! They may take a little longer than at a regular salon, but they put in more effort, and the prices are very low to encourage clients to take a chance with a student. However, each student is monitored by an instructor, who will check the cut, or the chemicals, etc., and advise during the entire process of the particular service. The overall vibe is very friendly and relaxed. During my last visit, Talia did my hair and she was professional and friendly. My perm came out soft with luxurious waves, which she styled to frame my face. I got many compliments later that day. I have never been disappointed and I'll be back soon for a color service!
I had a wonderful experience at this salon today. The student I had, Nadia, was just wonderful. This location was also very accepting of my trans status and was welcoming and respectful. And all top of all you can not beat the price. Everyone e should give them a chance.
